A Florida tuning shop goes global to build a 'Busa that would be accepted by the locals.
While the Hayabusa is undoubtedly the most pimped sportbike in the USA, it's not the usual choice for a front-line 'fighter elsewhere. In an effort to bring the ethos of the European streetfighter to the offspring of the huddled masses here in the USA, (in Florida to be precise), Jesus "Jai" Infanzon has tried to make the Euro-styled streetfighter as popular in the USA as gun ownership and obesity.
Jai liked the dramatic look of the Germanic 'fighters with their short tailsections and organic bodywork, but he considered the typical Teutonic styling far too extreme for the Florida homeboys, also the racetrack minimalism of the archetypal Brit streetfighter was similarly dismissed as being too Spartan for the majority of Americans to appreciate. So after much deliberation, Jai decided to go for the naked Eurofighter style, albeit without the German extremities, but incorporating typical Brit 'fighter features, such as the double braced JMC swingarm, twin discs up front, high-quality race-spec triple clamps with sit-up 'bars and minimal aftermarket bodywork. But to keep the plot truly Anglo-American, Jai also integrated many of the facets that make the U.S.-built custom sportbikes so special-features such as flawless chrome, stunning custom paintwork and exquisite custom billet aluminum wheels-all juxtaposed with many of the special parts Jai offers at his shop, Moto-Boutique, including billet aluminum engine covers and the like.
Now doing the rounds on the U.S. Show circuit to showcase both his abilities and the parts offered at Moto-Boutique, Jai's 'Busa seems to be having the desired effect on his fellow Americans.
