This rolling tribute isn't just a showboat however. Dual nitrous bottles do their part to boost the 'Busa when it's time to stomp. One sprays a 60 HP shot into the modified airbox while the second fires a purge out the front for extra drama.
But it's the custom seat that holds the true inspiration for the build. The bike was made in honor of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA). The organization was founded in 2004 by Paul Rieckhoff and his fellow Iraq and Afghanistan veterans. After returning home from their tours, they came together after quickly becoming concerned with the way the war in Iraq was being portrayed in the media and the overall plight of newly returned veterans. IAVA's mission is simple-improve the home lives of veterans. This bike is a good way to do it, and it's been a huge hit amongst veterans of all generations.
"The best part is when people come up and shake your hand and show gratitude. Usually it starts up a conversation. The next thing you know they are sharing stories, and even though they sometimes are talking about lost ones, you'll see smiles. I think they really get that Garwood is trying to do some good in the world," explained Steve.
