For folks in the armed services, being stuck overseas is all part of the deal. But SFC Andre Williams of the 101st Airborne found a useful way to spend with his spare time in Iraq.
He set to designing his custom Hayabusa, and the project ended up being the best morale booster he could ask for while he was away from American soil. With his finely tuned plan in hand he returned home to Tennessee and enlisted his man Robert Lunsford to assist in the build and lay the paint. The pair handled everything from the tribal spray to the Tricky Air ride installation, and in the process created their own shop to help make other enthusiasts' dreams a reality.
Even while being stuck in what certainly must seem like another world, Williams was able to hold onto home with his Hayabusa. There aren't many passions that run this deep, but custom sportbikes have a tendency to do just that-especially when you're designing your dream from afar.
