Hello fellow riders, builders and sportbike enthusiasts. It's been a busy month around here at CSC, and it was hard to even find a few minutes to take advantage of the space given to us. But we have some exciting stuff in the works and want to start pumping it up, so I put down the wrench for a few minutes and pecked out a few keys.
The most important addition to my custom collection lately came with the help of my beautiful wife, Brenda. We recently had our third child, Cameron, and he's keeping us plenty busy both in and out of the shop. Other than that, it's business as usual-the company has a lot on its plate right now with many high-profile custom builds scheduled for 2007.
Our upcoming show schedule has us nearly totally booked for 2007, and we've got some exciting projects in the works-besides our usual killer custom bikes.
I first met Adam Canni (Canni Design) through the Metric Revolution television series, and we've formed a good relationship that has blossomed into a team effort for a new project: "The Track Rat." It's going to be a full-on custom Suzuki Hayabusa and a rolling business card for the Rat's Hole Custom Bike Show series in Florida. The Track Rat will be incorporating one of our CSC billet single-sided swingarms and running a racebike-inspired paint job.
Aside from the upcoming shows and builds, the shop is also focusing on updating its Web site as well as bringing in many new and exciting custom parts for 2007. We're adding hundreds of parts to our inventory and the Web site in the coming months in order to get our custom parts to retail customers and other custom builders as quickly as possible.
CSC's list of applications for the single-sided wide tire kits is constantly growing, and we have added the Honda CBR1000RR, the Kawasaki ZX-14 and the 2004-2007 Yamaha R1 to the list. We've also got a new line of wheels that we're looking forward to unveiling in 2007 that will be available in wide-tire sizes.
Make sure to stay tuned for updates on the shop right here in SSB, or check us out on our Web site at www.cscbikes.com
