Elite Italian manufacturer MV Agusta has taken the tarp off of the most expensive production bike ever built-the F4CC. The 1078cc sportbike has a limited production run of only 100 units, and the exclusivity is obviously part of the price tag.
Named after MV's president, Claudio Castiglioni, the bike has only top-of-the-line components, and many of its parts are handmade specifically for this one application. Said Castiglioni, "I decided to put my name to this bike as I originally dreamed of it for myself."
When you're the boss you can apparently do as you please, and Castiglioni did just that. He went to MV Agusta's race closet for some of the parts, and the claimed 195 mph top speed is the product of nearly 200 horses running through the lightweight, 411-pound bike-serious stuff.
Is it worth the hefty sum? That depends more on how much you value heritage and exclusivity, because there's a lot more being offered here than just performance. For more pics and info check out www.mvagustausa.com
