Motorcycle ClubThe Pace Setters Motorcycle Club was founded by three motivated men with a vision ofmaking a difference in the world. What started asa simple discussion at the barbershop between Raymond (Boss Hogg) and Ken (Bird Man) developed into a genuine philanthropic motorcycle club. Boss Hogg and Bird Man took their idea to Ricky (Slick), the future president of the Pacesetters, and they laid the foundation.
The trio wanted to develop something more than just a group of riders getting together for a weekend ride, though. The Pacesetters felt a need to start a motorcycle club in the Mobile, Alabama, area that could represent unity and be a positive influence for the local youth and communities. So on March 26, 2006, the Pacesetters Motorcycle Club was born.
The club's mission is to conduct itself with the highest level of professionalism and gain the respect of their communities, other organizations and each other. They value integrity and honesty and are committed to serving their youth in a positive manner by acting as role models and leaders.
The Pace Setters ClubThe Pace Setters believe in helping the community through volunteering with groups like the United Way, helping Hurricane Katrina victims and working with Volunteers of America Southeast. They've also given school supplies to local children and hosted benefits to help cover medical expenses for sick members. The club prides itself on being a drug-free organization as well.
"True Riders for Life" acts as the Pacesetter motto while both on and off the bike.
