Love A Good Blow Job
The gem of the April mag was the spread on page 82-83 ("Dutch Blow Job"). Now this is a super streetbike- a completely useable, yet totally insane streetfighter. Maybe it's just me, but 330 rear tires and super-long wheelbases belong on choppers, not sportbikes. Although the cover bike is beautiful, it is no less a trailer queen than an OCC theme bike.

It seems clear the trend in motorcycling is a return to useable bikes-not just showbikes. Any freakin' bike with a rear tire bigger than 200 is flirting with becoming cumbersome. Now don't get me wrong; I like all bikes, even the "mostly for show and go-in-a-straight-line" type (I have a chopper in my stable).

I'm just saying you should save some more room per month for features on bikes like that Blow Job bike-high-quality customized bikes that not only look great, but are fully rideable as well. What about performance

I wanted to tell you about how much I loved reading your magazine while I was in Iraq. You guys keep me up to date on all the new gear, parts, and people coming to the streetbike scene. Your magazine helped me to realize what I am fighting for!BJ Briley

Farias Folly
Lately I've felt that your magazine has been falling off, but this upset me. In the new "Where Are They Now?" section, AC Farias was featured. Now, being a fan of the original Euro riders, I was upset to see that your review was less than positive and completely inaccurate when it came to his recent riding. Yes, AC came to Stunt Wars this year, but he qualified first. Then, in his final run, the bike broke. Also, in Tandem, he and CP rode perfectly until CP's crash.

Overall not a big deal, but I'm just disappointed that recently your magazine has been getting worse and worse, and now I'm getting to the point of just not buying another one. I don't know what's causing this sudden lack of quality, but please fix it.Jake Wether

Farias finished 12th at Stunt Wars-not a very good result. Obviously you meant "Team" instead of "Tandem," and he didn't even place in that event.

If, by "the mag getting worse and worse," you mean selling better than ever-you're right!

Not For Sniffing
I just received the April '07 issue, and I guess I am lucky to even receive it. It seems that the glue that you [use to] attach the mailing label didn't stick so well. The issue seems to have had a hard journey. It has been folded and torn, and the label has been reattached using that clear packing tape. Even the label is only partly there. Without the clear tape, the label would have been lost. I would have missed out on the issue only to wonder what happened.

So please do not cut back on the glue that holds the labels, and please check that they are receiving all the glue required.Bruce

We can only imagine what the label attachers are doing with all that glue.
