REARSET
The corroded and crusty stock 'sets just weren't going to do-not with the numerous other high-quality parts being bolted on. Rearsets can help make or break a bike's appearance, and with these Sato fully adjustable beauties we not only hit a styling home run but also gained the benefit of adjustments. They move vertically and horizontally, and the toe pieces can also be moved in or out.
EXHAUST
Leo Vince exhausts are engineered to run at peak performance with stock fuel maps, so theoretically you can bolt it on and be done with it. Of course you'll get great weight savings and sound, and ideally some extra power as well.
We chose to use the end can from a ZX-10 to give it style points, and it ended up looking simply gorgeous. Dyno results are coming next month.
POWER COMMANDER
There are two reasons we hooked up a power commander. Despite Leo Vince's claim that the exhaust is fine with stock mapping, we're sure to get a few more horses with some custom fuel mapping (check your local dyno shop for rates). Additionally, the quickshifter requires a PC in order to function.
QUICKSHIFTER
It's a small but effective piece of gear. That little dynojet labeled cylinder allows for shifting without the need to use the clutch or roll out of full throttle. Something needs to be done about that blue zip tie though.
