Day 2:
Left Cameron Highlands to Penang.
As we traveled down the backside of the mountain, the road opened up and really allowed me to test out the Honda VFR from Bikers Choice (www.bikerschoice.com.my). The road was filled with long sweepers with great visibility. Simply put it was awesome riding.
We traveled via the highway to Penang Island. After a brief ferry ride we left the bikes behind and continued the tour.
Penang Island is a beautiful bustling city with lots of culture and great places to eat. While on the island we visited some Buddha temples, Penang Hill that overlooks the entire island, Georgetown Museum and the War Museum. The War Museum was especially memorable as it reinforced the Malaysian attitude of peace.
