Bright and early we left Penang to Alor Star. We stopped at the Lembah Bujang History Center where we visited ruins that had been there for thousands of years. Along the way I got to ride through genuine rice paddy fields. What struck me the most is the generous hospitality of the host and the multigenerational families that work the field.
