Exhaust/Fueling
With only 25 horsepower the Ninja 250 isn't exactly a beast to ride, but the Yoshimura TRC full stainless steel exhaust system shaved off weight and added nearly five peak HP-that's a 20 percent power increase folks. The Dynojet jet kit helped smooth the vastly improved midrange power delivery and corrected the air/fuel ratio as well.
"People usually hear me before they see me. It's not annoyingly loud like a South Park hog and it's not a high pitch sound like a ZX-10. Everybody modifies the bike's behind in one way or another. Instead of taking a hacksaw to the ungainly stock license plate hanger we looked to Targa for a fender eliminator kit to tighten up the tail.

Although the Ninja 250 comes from the factory with a low seat height (30.5-inches versus 32.7-inches on a ZX-10R), it can still be a little too high for newer riders who prefer both feet to be firmly planted. Roaring Toyz offers a lowering kit that comes complete with all the cool billet pieces needed to get the Ninja rolling as low as you like (kickstand, bar blocks and lowering links). In this case we dropped the bike to the second to last adjustment in the rear while fitting the bar risers in front for nearly a two-inch height reduction.
