“Trying to avoid being stabbed with a pencil, being spit on, kicked, punched, and being called every vulgar name known is a typical day for me. And no, I don’t work in a prison. I’m the teacher of a behavior unit in the local school district. I work with kids who, through terrible physical and mental circumstances, are unable to participate in the general education classroom.
Leaning through corners on my ‘09 R1 helps me forget the stresses of my work day, but remember that life is about freedom. I fight every day to give my students that same freedom and that is why my motorcycle is my weapon.”
