I started riding motorcycles when I was 20 on a one-cylinder Ducati. 26 years passed. I had been going to school full time and also running a tile company full time. It was during a clinical rotation that the chance finally arose to own another bike. I traded a tile job with a doctor for a 2004 Suzuki Katana. It was this Katana that took me to my first trip to the track. After this adventure it led to my recent bike and a third place championship in CCS racing. This was after a near total rebuild following a crash and broken ribs. It just goes to show that even after 20 years, the bike never leaves your blood. I look forward to many more years on the race circuit and the street.
