"Scorpion Sports has made the leap from an exclusive helmet manufacturer into the apparel market. One of its first designs is the all-leather Stinger made especially with the street rider in mind. I wore the black and white Stinger during a 100-mile street ride that included city, highway and twisty back roads.
"Earlier this year I made the switch from leather to textile jackets for the added mobility and comfort they provide. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Stinger still gave all the comfort I had become accustomed to. I did manage to bring home some noticeable dead friends on the all-white color though.
"The fit was tight enough to withstand a few high-speed passes, yet loose enough to move freely during the twisties. Overall, the Stinger was a nice return to leather-jacket-wearing ways."
