Flush-Mount Indicators
Curb feelers are cool on a 1973 Cadillac, but those odd orange protrusions on your side fairings gotta go. There are loads of options to choose from, and whether it's billet beauties or a carbon-fiber LED design, your bike will instantly look sleeker and make you a faster rider (from the improved aerodynamics of course).

Spark plugs
Quality spark plugs cost a bit more than Auto Zone's weekly special 99 numbers, but in the case of these combustible contraptions it's money well spent. Your bike probably came from the factory with some middle-of-the-road plugs, and there are better options available.Different construction materials and designs allow the plugs to fire more efficiently at the specified temperatures your bike's engine prefers to function at, and with the proper plug there will even be up to a horsepower or two gained on the dyno.Stop taking for granted the fact that your bike actually starts when you finger the trigger, because one of these days those crusty and neglected old sparkies will throw in the towel and you'll be stranded with a rather large paperweight.

Windscreen
Easy installation and instant gratification are the name of the game, and both come in the bag with an aftermarket windscreen. Not only do they install in a matter of mere moments, but they also add style and performance for under a hundred bucks. If you can conjure the color there is probably one already on the market, and despite the obvious improvements in style there is an element of performance to be gained as well. Extra wind protection keeps the cold stuff off while quieting your cruise as well. Whether you're in it for the long ride or simply styling it up, an aftermarket screen is a good place to start in your quest of customization.

Adjustable Levers
Stock levers simply aren't cool and don't really function all that well. Whether it's a dirt bike, a Harley or a sportbike doesn't really matter-they look pretty shit and work about the same. Thankfully there are all sorts of options for all types of riders. Whether you're a focused speed freak or a controlled cruiser there is a lever with your name on it.
Some are short, some are long and some can even be both at the same time. Though the riddle of aftermarket levers may seem a tad confusing at times it needn't be. Shorty levers are for riders who prefer one or two fingers and tend to be of the clickable performance type, while longer billet styles are more appropriate for show bikes that feature a custom look over all-out performance.Upgrading your levers will improve your Zen-like oneness with the brake and clutch that makes for happier and safer rides. They make for a better overall set-up and tend to allow more precise position changes while looking pretty slick in the process.
