After getting side-swiped on an apparently indestructible Yamaha R6 test bike, it was obvious that the majority of the collision was absorbed by my left foot. The offending auto's bumper, mirror and headlight were all in pieces, but the only damage I suffered was a missing toe slider! The impact was enough to completely fold in the gear shift lever, but the boot kept my foot protected and, thankfully, still attached to my ankle!
