"If there's something oddly familiar about this lid, it's probably because it's the same one you've seen Ben Spies wear while he kicks everyone's ass in the AMA Superbike Championship. His is painted different in the 'Elbowz' scheme, but otherwise it's the same helmet.
"As you'd expect from a glance, the carbon-fiber shell greatly reduces weight. My neck doesn't normally get tired from riding, but if yours does give this one a try. Not only is it light, but with a tinted shield it's one of the better looking helmets available-but then carbon fiber seems to have a knack for making just about anything look better.
"The liner is removable and washable, but that might not be necessary thanks to the ACS, or Advanced Channeling System (which basically means it flows air really well).
