When it comes to cleaning your bike, don't be tempted to head to the kitchen and grab some random spray designed to remove half-eaten food from a counter top. Using proper cleaning products will leave your bike clean, spot free, protected, and with a lustrous shine.

There are specific products made to help reduce elbow grease while leaving the bike glossy and protected. While some cleaners help remove dirt and debris, others add shine back to your surfaces. It's important to remember when cleaning your bike that the type of towel used is just as important as the chemical. So leave the dirty dishrag or soiled sock aside and choose a lint free micro fiber cloth.
Liquid Performance Street Bike Wash
Liquid Performance Street Bike Wash contains a secret formula that removes grease, dirt and road grime. It's designed to spray on and rinse off while minimizing the amount of scrubbing required. It's non-corrosive and biodegradable and available in sizes from 32 ounces to 55 gallons (the latter being for really big bikes).
Motoglo Detailer
The company name sort of sums this product up. Motoglo is a spray-on cleaner and polish in one. It removes bugs, water spots and dirt and is safe for paint, chrome and plastic surfaces. It has a white foamy texture when sprayed on that remains visible until wiped off to help ensure no excess polish remains. Think of it as dummy proof.
Fukken Wax Euro-style Auto Wax
Fukken Wax is both a cleaner and a wax in an aerosol can. It removes grease, tar, bugs, mildew, road grime, light scratches and even tree sap. It also claims to remove oxidation and restore faded paint, but we didn't have a bike that wasted to test it on. Fukken Wax is also clear coat and gel coat friendly.
Muc-Off Nano Tech Bike Cleaner
Muc-Off Nano Tech Bike Cleaner has a unique cleaning formula containing tiny cleaning particles that lift and suspend dirt and grime away from the surface, allowing it to be easily removed. It leaves behind a protective layer that prevents corrosion and prolongs the bike's factory finish. Muc-Off is safe for use on anodizing, paintwork, carbon fiber, rubber, disc brake pads and more, so spray away without worry-Muc-Off will make more.
Pro Honda Glare Ultra Wash
Pro Honda Glare Ultra Wash is part of a two-step cleaning system. It utilizes a pH-balanced ingredient called Glassplexin.
After applying the liquid and then wiping it off, the surface is left clean, glossy, and free of debris. It is safe for all surfaces, including clear coats.
