I was hesitant to use the Wheelie Teach, but found out it's a great product. Installation was a breeze, and it actually works. The lowest of the three settings allowed for a two-foot high wheelie (which is just enough to get familiar with the feeling) and the highest point is just below the balance point.
Several riders of varying abilities tried it and all proclaimed it to be sturdy enough for their liking. If there was one area of improvement it would be the plastic "bumper" that contacts the swingarm. We'd like it to be a little bigger to better distribute the impact. In extreme cases you might eventually dent the swingarm over time. To soften the blow we used multiple layers of duct tape at the contact point. Also, the plastic wheels are a bit noisy (like a shopping cart), so noise-sensitive spots should be avoided (it's still quieter than a slip-on pipe though).
The Wheelie Teach is a safe bet for beginners because it offers the added confidence needed to rise to the next level. If you thought wheelying was impossible, this might just be your tool.
