On this month's cover story we were able to put the P-Box up against the timing lights at the dragstrip, and it was damn near perfect: time/mph accuracy was within the hundredths. If that's not cool enough, the included software breaks out your performance by gear and other selectable parameters. Since the P-Box needs a 12V power source (a cigarette-lighter socket) I found it easiest to use a Power Plate from XSBoost Performance to power it. It was easier to catch a satellite signal by mounting the unit to the windscreen and using the optional remote antenna affixed to the tail section.
I don't know about you, but testing my performance mods is something I've always wished I could do. And the Performance Box brings the drag strip and much more to your doorstep. Just plug it in, select the desired data and let it fly."
