The Nicky Hayden-edition Kicker dock features a subwoofer on the back of the unit along with a pair of five-inch woofers and silk-dome tweeters. An internal amplifier juices it all with digital signal processing for a rich sound.
The "skin" design, inspired by MotoGP racer Nicky Hayden and his stars-and-stripes color scheme, is featured on custom vinyl made specifically to fit the iK501.
Other features include a composite video output that plays from the media unit to larger screens. An auxiliary-input jack allows a hookup for other MP3 or compact-disc players, computers or satellite radio. The iK501's dock works with iPhone, iPhone 3G and all 4th-generation or newer iPod media players.
