Rear stands are one of those accessories that are easy to take for granted. It's only until you don't have one or use a really good stand that you realize how critical they are to a successful bike maintenance routine. I spent a lot of years balancing my bikes on their kickstands or on wood blocks, but after using the S1-Pro stand for a few months I'd gladly spend the money for it again. The width is preset and will basically work for any sportbike with swingarm spools. It's a quality part that's been CNC machined from aluminum (which makes it sturdy yet lightweight), and the compact size makes it easy to tuck away in the bed of a pickup.
When it's time for wrenching, the S1 actually works better than any other stand I've used. Think they're all the same? Nope. The S1 only raises the tire about an inch off the floor, whereas most other stands raise the rear too high, making it tough to leverage the wheel out (and back in). And I have to admit-it looks pretty darn nice too.
