Gloves come in a vast array of materials, colors and styles, so to pick only one pair is tough. In the heat of summer I prefer textile gloves because they allow my hands to breath, but in colder weather I prefer to rock full leather for warmth.
The Thunder gloves from Alpinestars are a nice mix of textile and leather and truly are the best of both worlds. The short cuff easily fits within the sleeve of whatever jacket I'm wearing. One of the smallest features, but super convenient, is the short leather pull piece that makes putting on the second glove (with one gloved hand) a snap. The carbon fiber knuckles give them a trick look and are very rigid in case of a crash. The tops are textile and let air flow freely to keep your fingers sweat free and the palms are a combination of suede and synthetic materials for abrasion resistance. Overall, the Thunder gloves are the near-perfect blend of materials, and a great year-round glove.
