Have you ever wondered how some bikes at the strip (or the traffic lights) sound like they have a "lower" rev limiter than normal? It's likely a dual stage rev limiter. The Dyna DRL-400 allows for wide-open throttle launches without the fear of looping out or busting the tire loose. The DRL-400's second trick is that it has an adjustable over-rev limiter to help preserve your motor. There are 32 settings, from 3000-10,500 RPM on the launch limiter and 16 settings for the over rev limit, from 10,000-14,000 RPM.
