Icon was a trendsetter when it released its Super Duty line of street boots nearly ten years ago and has continuously improved them over time. The latest Super Duty 4s are the best version to date. The beauty is in the simplicity of the boot. They have hardened toes, full ankle support, and a non-slip sole. Rather than a complex system of S&M style straps and buckles, a simple and effective set of shoestrings are held in place with an aluminum and leather buckle.
The true brilliance of the Super Duty 4s is the ability to wear them all day long. The weight distribution and arch support provide enough comfort to make you forget you are wearing safety equipment at all. Styling resembles a pair of work boots and don't look out of place when walking around in public either. I crashed wearing a pair of the Super Duty 3s and had no foot or ankle injuries, so I'm confident the 4s will provide the same-if not better-comfort, style and protection that have made them my first choice in street footwear.
