tourmaster.comWhen it comes to protecting my paws I'm as picky as a priss. Seriously, who can afford to use ill-fitting mitts when your hands are crucial to controlling your bike? I demand that my street gloves offer great comfort, maximum flexibility and serious protection along with durability, too. The Cortech gloves have all of the above and look great with the cool carbon knuckles and red (in my case) leather construction.
While textile gloves have come a long way, leather is where it's at. Abrasion resistance is key in a crash since your hands are likely the first to hit the ground, so having the multi-layered palms makes these gloves a good choice.
If cold-weather riding is your thing you might want to reconsider since they have perforated finger and wrist backing, but for medium to warm temps these are the shit. Airflow is king and the carbon fiber two-piece knuckles not only look cool, but they'll also help save you in a crash.
Another aspect many people forget when considering gloves is the ease of entry and exit. I think gloves that take forever to put on are seriously annoying. There's a fine line between securing them in case of a crash and making them impossible to throw on. In this realm the Cortechs are about the perfect blend of both.
These are the first pair of Cortech gloves I've ever tried and they certainly won't be the last.
