Forget paying out the wahzoo for adjustable aftermarket levers because the days of shelling out several Benjamins are over. The crew at Sixty61 have taken the ubiquitous multi-click adjustable lever design and added several new options.
As you’d expect, the levers have a six-position adjustable reach setting that can be adjusted on the fly, but there’s also a few additional tricks locked inside. Take for instance the breakaway feature that is designed to help save the lever in a crash. Upon impact the lever folds upward, thus diminishing serious damage.
Another unique feature (and a first that we’ve seen) are the length adjustable lever ends. The length of the levers can now be custom tailored to your liking with the turn of a wrench. This feature is claimed to give riders the ability to both tweak the length to their comfort and to offer more leverage in the event a rider’s fingers get tired from a long day at the track.
In addition to the list of features these levers also come in several colors including all black, black/red and black/gold. They’re also available for most sportbikes and should be a worthy addition to any proper streetbike. Better looks and improved function are hard to argue with after all. ssb
