Finding a balance between armor, looking legit and decent comfort are things all of us consider when shopping for gear. Even when it’s hot, I lean towards leather over textile so I’ve had no qualms zipping up Speed and Strength’s Twist of Fate 2.0 jacket. I’ve worn it on long, short, hot, cold and congested rides and it has yet to cause any mentionable discomfort. The perforated arms and upper-back area outlining the speed hump breath fantastically—so much so that in colder weather I’ve considered wearing a long sleeve under the jacket. This is the most breathable leather jacket I’ve ever owned and has a long list of street-savvy features (belt loops to attach pants, reflective brand logos).
Aesthetically, it has a simple, clean street style. The amount of armor in the back, shoulders and elbows keeps me at ease when dodging cars, and the stretchable inserts make movements easy.
