If your brake pads are glazed over or simply worn out, it's time for a replacement set. Changing out the old ones for some fresh pads is quick and easy...here's how:

1: Remove the two caliper...

1: Remove the two caliper bolts holding the caliper to the fork leg.

2: Remove the caliper, then...

2: Remove the caliper, then loosen the small bolt that runs through the top of the caliper. It runs through the loop in the top of the brake pads, and as you pull it out the pads will drop out.

3: The old pads will fall...

3: The old pads will fall out the bottom when the pin is removed.

4: That loop is where the...

4: That loop is where the pin you've just removed slides through.

5: Align the pads within the...

5: Align the pads within the gold clip that rests on the back of the caliper, then slide the pin into place and tighten.

6: Use a flathead screwdriver...

6: Use a flathead screwdriver to squeeze a gap between the pads. This will allow space to slide it over the rotor as you reinstall the caliper.
Tighten the caliper bolts to spec.
