25/26: Unplug the blinkers and simply remove the fairings. Note that there's a locking device at the bottom of the fairings to hold them together. Carefully unhinge the tabs and they'll break free.

Reinstalling the fairings

27: Start reinstalling the...

27: Start reinstalling the fairings by snapping the silver trim into its tabs. This allows the fairings to hang freely, making installation easier. Note: We found it easier to install the right side first.
