Better wind protection and improved looks come easy with an aftermarket windscreen. Installation on the 2009 Kawasaki ZX-10R is pretty quick and easy.
 The clear stock screen looks...  The clear stock screen looks boring for sure. |  Start by loosening the screen...  Start by loosening the screen bolts. This is the very top bolt-they're all 4mm Allen heads. There are two silver bolts on either side, and four black bolts across the bottom. No need to remove the mirrors. |  Once all the bolts are removed...  Once all the bolts are removed give it a firm tug and it'll wiggle out of its placement. |
 As it loosens, simply pluck...  As it loosens, simply pluck it out of the upper fairing. |  The stock screen has a rubber...  The stock screen has a rubber grommet in the uppermost hole on each side. Remove both. |  The aftermarket screen has...  The aftermarket screen has a large hole on each side to accept the stock rubber grommet. Push it into place on the RSD screen. |
 Slide the screen into place,...  Slide the screen into place, and line up the lower four holes over the top of the rubber grommets that are already in the fairing. |  Tighten all six bolts down...  Tighten all six bolts down and then enjoy your smart and classy new RSD "Clarion" windscreen. | |
