Look at that crown! will it help bring the er-6n up to royal sportbike status?

Mods: Ermax fairing and undertailI can confidently say the Er-6n looks nothing like its former self. It has been transformed from an awkward beginner bike into a euro-style streetfighter with a bark as loud as its bite.
Ermax
Windscreen
$69.95...
My final bits of Ermax-supplied parts went on this month. I installed a windscreen/fairing piece that went on easily once I figured out how it all bolted together. Reading the instructions may have sped up the process, but ya know...
The screen mounts to two brackets that utilize the bolts that hold on the front gauge cluster. Remove the bolts, put the bracket in place, retighten the bolts and it's done. It was literally that simple. I'll admit, I'm not completely sold on the looks. It sort of resembles a king's crown or a medieval head ornament. Regardless, it gave me just that wee bit of wind protection I was looking for at highway speeds.
The ermax undertail cleans...
The ermax undertail cleans up the rear with cool flushmounts and even a built-in plate light.
Fender eliminator
$150
frogspecialties.comI'm completely stoked about the fender eliminator on the other hand. Rather than replacing the stock undertail, it bolts onto it for an easy installation. The only problem I ran into was the supplied bracket must have been made for European license plates because the plate mounting holes didn't line up. I reused the one I had, but you may need to drill some holes to make it work. Once finished, the butt of the bike looks even more sleek than before. Now the signals aren't sticking out like curb feelers on grandma's Lincoln.
Smart bolt-on appearance items can go a long way to improve a bike's looks, and I think I've added all the accessories available for this bike. Now it's time to unveil my creation to an unsuspecting world of 600cc sportbikes. Time to shut up, put up and ride out.
Coming next month:
Bike nights and city lights.
