There are a few areas of bike design that have all sorts of theoretical disadvantages-until you look at the other options. Front forks are perhaps the most obvious, putting your main braking force on the end of a pair of long springs while making it all part of the steering, too. On paper it's a mess, but in practice, there's little to touch it for effective front suspension.

LAS VEGAS (Nov. 2, 2008) - Screamin' Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec defeated series points leader Matt Smith in the third round of the ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and lies just 19 points out of first place with one event left on the Pro Stock Motorcycle schedule.

The Super Streetbike/ECTA Top Speed Challenge is just around the corner (Sept 27-28th) at Maxton, North Carolina.
