Not often do you find a line of bikes as versatile as the Ninja series. During a day out at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway in Desert Center, CA. for a Kawasaki hosted “Ninja Day” we threw a leg over the new ZX-10R, ZX-6R, Ninja 650 and Ninja 300. Which was the most fun and best teaching tool? Not the fastest ZX-10R. Instead it was the little Ninja 300. Sure this bike was the slowest of the bunch but that made line choice, braking and every input that much more important to keep the speed and fun factor up.

Smoking tires and riding wheelies on my 2006 Kawasaki 636 is how I rage with my machine. Stunt riding allows me to challenge myself every time I ride. It makes my heart beat faster and stronger as the adrenaline pumps. I get an indescribable feeling when I can overcome a challenge with my motorcycle and learn a new trick. There is no place I would rather be than on my 636. I fell in love with riding the street and the freedom that it allows. Stunt riding gives me that same freedom, at a more thrilling level.

Irvine, Calif. (March 6, 2013) – Kawasaki is excited to announce that the new Kawasaki Ninja(r) ZX(tm)-6R has been homologated and is eligible for AMA Pro Road Racing for the 2013 season. The 636cc machine sits on the World SuperSport winning chassis fitted with new Separate Function Fork – Big Piston (SFF-BP) suspension, a 700-gram lighter aluminum slipper clutch, new Nissin Radial-Mount Monobloc calipers, and Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) for 2013.

I rage on my 2006 Honda F4i with the throttle pinned wide open every chance I get! I’ve been riding for about six years total on the street. I love to compete against other riders at comps. and exhibition shows to just cruising around town. To calm any brand concerns from the auto news, Suzuki’s Sr. Director of Motorcycle/ATV/Marine operations, Larry Vandiver reassured, “It’ll be business as usual .” So looking at the situation as the glass half full, this could only mean that ASMC will be focusing more intensely on its future sportbikes. 2013 didn’t bring a massive retooling of any of the Gixxer options but it did commemorate a big achievement in model production.

A 250 too small but 600cc a bit much? Honda answers the call with an all-new 2013 threesome of budget-friendly 500s. And the CBR600RR receives more than a drastic facelift.
