Test For Ecko
Five years ago a free t-shirt from the local shop was about all the sponsorship that a top-level stunt rider could hope for. That's changing because of riders like Kane Friesen who continue to break ground and open doors--not only for stunt riding but also for streetbikes in general.
At the 25th Annual Macy and American Express Passport Fashion show in Santa Monica, California, Friesen wheelied his custom Kawasaki ZX-6R down the catwalk to the cheers and amazement of the fashion elite. "It was the most nervous I have ever been doing a wheelie. It wasn't about how many people were there, it was about who was in that crowd. With all the lights, music, smoke and all that production for one wheelie it was quite a rush!"
"To have a company indirectly involved in motorcycles still get excited and enthusiastic about what I do and support me as much as they do means a lot."
