Streetfighterz Ride Of The Century
The Streetfighterz Ride of the Century let hundreds of stunt riders loose on the streets. Naturally not all the riders were completely law-abiding, but the hardcore stunting was saved for the lot. Before the big street ride was an energy-packed preview of the Streetfighterz latest DVD, Careless and Imprudent 5; Street Credentials, at a local watering hole. Fans and riders alike eagerly anticipated the latest in the video series after years of gathering footage killing the streets. The preview party kicked off Friday evening and gave the crowd a chance to view the first hour of the two-disc edition.
The ride that was scheduled for Saturday afternoon was nearly canceled due to rain, but despite the wet conditions over 500 sportbikes conducted a takeover of the city streets and highways throughout St. Louis.
The ride concluded in an abandoned lot near Busch Stadium, where top riders showed off their skills in a controlled environment before the official after-party. As the sun set the slow wheelies and insane drifting ended to allow the riders to wind down and do what they do second best--party.
