"Out of the four years I've been coming, this was the best event so far. It just keep getting better and better. It's for the kids, and a lot of people can't wait for next year."
Toy Ride.Org's Annual Charity Ride Spreads Joy And Wheelies To Local Kids
For the seventh year, ToyRide.org organized a charity event to benefit the Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services. Chris and Michelle Lee, with the help of numerous sponsors, raised over $10,000.00 for less fortunate children in Southern California. In excess of 500 riders, more than 15 local clubs, and great weather made the event a complete success.
The event featured contests, prize giveaways with sick prizes, a catered lunch and a group ride. The ride had no incidents with the closest calls to catastrophe coming courtesy of the doughnut-eating contest. The crowd loved the fierce competition.

"Toyride was a huge success with spectacular weather. I had people calling me and telling me how much fun they had. We are on for next year and we are revamping it. People are going to want to come out to see an even bigger and better show."
Local stunt riders Troy Hoff, Nate Hall and Tony Carbajal, along with the guys from Von Dutch and our Roadrash Chic, Jessica Maine, were in attendance to show their support for a worthy cause.
The event culminates a few weeks after the ride with Santa cruisin' in on a sportbike to present the children with holiday gifts.
