Ring Of Fire
With viewers glued to their televisions, Clint Ewing rode his GO FAST-wrapped 2007 Kawasaki ZX-6R through a very over-produced, 200-foot-long set of flaming tubes. The heavily hyped stunt put the Californian in the record books, but was rather anticlimactic for viewers and actually frowned upon among his peers for its lack of required skill.
The ride was probably pretty warm indeed, but when the aerial view of the stunt hit the screen it was obvious that the flames weren't exactly threatening Ewing or his fireproofed bike. Sense a bit of Mission Impossible Hollywood sensationalism going on here?
The actual stunt may not have been as wild as the buzz, but the 4-second ride and a bit of improvisational and melodramatic acting brought Ewing primetime network coverage, a spot in the pages of Guinness and a lifetime supply of GO FAST energy drinks (you can bet Red Bull never would have let such a lame display go down).

Clint Ewing rides through Prime Time fire in front of 7 million viewers.
