HJC's new FS-15 in now available in colored carbon fiber. FS-15 carbon helmets are 150 grams lighter than the standard fiberglass/Spectra FS-15 models. The FS-15 carbon shares the same class-leading aerodynamic design that was under development for over two years and was designed from the ground up with the help of HJC's state-of-the-art wind tunnel and CAD/CAM equipment. During development, Ben Spies provided feedback to our engineers throughout the 2008 AMA season. Ben continues to wear the helmet as he attacks the World Superbike series this year.
Our precise 3-D modeling provides the basis for exceptional fit, lighter weight and clean aerodynamics. It also allows us to incorporate our Advanced Channeling Ventilation system in the earliest generations of the new helmet design process.
Carbon Fiber Composite Weave Shell: Lightweight, superior fit and comfort using advanced CAD/CAM technology.
Optically-superior Pinlock-prepared Faceshield: New 3D design provides 95% UV protection, an anti-scratch coating and is prepared for the ultimate anti-fog Pinlock insert.
RapidFireTM Shield Replacement System: Quick, secure, tool-less removal and installation.
2-stage Shield Closure Mechanism: Pivots on a double axis to evenly compress the shield into the eye port gasket providing an extremely secure seal.
"ACS" Advanced Channeling Ventilation System: Full front to back airflow flushes heat and humidity up and out.
SilverCoolTM Interior: Removable moisture-wicking and odor-free interior with advanced silver anti-bacterial fabric.

HJC TechnologyHJC utilizes industry-leading CAD 3D modeling programs to design helmets that are lightweight, aerodynamic and extremely comfortable. HJC R&D specialists utilize a state-of-the-art continuous single return atmospheric wind tunnel to fine-tune the aerodynamics of every helmet they make. Designs are constantly being evaluated to reduce noise and turbulence while enhancing airflow through the vents and improving overall comfort. Every HJC helmet model is subjected to some of the toughest, most intensive scientific impact testing in the industry. HJC helmets are tested in a wide variety of impacts, under extreme temperature conditions from -4o to +122o F, to ensure optimum performance in any riding scenario.
