To suit the needs of riders, who are more and more qualified and therefore demanding, the market is becoming increasingly competitive: manufacturers are left with one option: offering the best product! In this regard, Lightech has once again proven to pay great attention to testing new materials and guaranteeing top quality products. And this is even more true for folding brake and clutch levers - hydro and cable alike. Entirely made of magnesium, with the exception of the joint made of Ergal, Lightech brake levers - tested every weekend by the best riders - are folding and adjustable to the left side (through a control register). Thanks to their sober design, they couple style with efficiency. Likewise, racing clutch levers are also made of magnesium with a ring of Ergal fitting onto original joints, thereby guaranteeing ease of use and adjustment. Having folding levers is essential, especially on track, to prevent them from braking in the event of slipping. Attention to details and design is key to the entire range of products manufactured by Lightech. The average weight of both levers is approx. 35 grams and they only come in black. Prices range from € 68 + VAT for clutch levers to a maximum of € 125 + VAT for the racing version with ring. Conversely, brake levers have a price ranging from € 79 + VAT (if adjustable to the right side) to a maximum of € 165 + VAT (if adjustable to the left side, including a control register).
Lightness and convenience, comfort and style for Lightech risers Modern sport and naked bikes are increasingly forcing riders to an uncomfortable position. The problem of coping with too much frontward load on the rider undermines ease of riding and handling. Even if they are good for sports, naked bikes are meant for leisure and allow for a wide range of uses. The uncomfortable position is mainly due to the handlebar, whose position is too angled and low. As a solution, Lightech offers new riser handlebars with different diameters starting from 28.6 mm, whereby the handlebar connection can be raised by 15 mm. Once again Lightech has managed to couple technological innovation with handling and design. Suffice it to think that risers have a weight of 130 grams only. Entirely machined from solid, Lightech risers are fitted with a small stainless steel plate bearing the rubber logo of the Italian firm. Available in red, gold, silver and black.
