Mind of the Demon, the Larry Linkogle Story is a dark, analytical look into the psyche of one of the most talented, yet aggressively self-destructive minds of our generation. Larry Linkogle is a world-record holding dirt-bike legend, who fought to help kick-start the freestyle motocross revolution. But as the sport gained unexpected fame so did Larry's battles with his inner-demons, and he slowly spiraled out of control - lost to drugs and violence.
Incredible archival footage, colorful characters and interviews with all of the industry's top names, rebuild the thrilling story of the birth of freestyle motocross, and the gritty demise of the sport's most infamous legend. Past and present story lines creatively intertwine to drive the film toward one of only two possible conclusions: a nose dive straight into a black hole or one of the most unlikely inspirational comeback stories of all time.
One of Larry's partners in crime gave us an incredibly honest interview on his battles with drug-addiction. 38 hours later he over-dosed. Despite objection, we filmed the funeral. At the end of the day, LT's Knode's death may help other jacked-up kids get clean and we're positive he'd be stoked.
Mind of the Demon was written and directed by FMX industry veteran Adam Barker the creative behind Lone Gut Productions. He can be blamed for the cult feature Frezno Smooth, No Fear's Chapters One and Three, the Fox Sports TV series M80.
