Constructed of race-spec 1.2mm-1.4mm full grain leather, the Hurricane gets the Scorpion's exclusive ExoTec CE-approved armor at the elbows, shoulders, knees and hips along with double-leather panels at all high impact areas.
Although the ExoSkeletal protection is designed to protect riders from a nightmare at the track, the Hurricane fits like a dream, courtesy of the Schoeller stretch Kevlar panels that optimize flexibility. Flex-Leather panels at the upper back, rear waist and upper knees further enhance the fit. Speaking of the leather, the front and rear panels are perforated to keep the wind blowing through the Hurricane and the rider comfortable. A washable vented mesh inner liner also helps keep the rider cool in the heat of battle on the track.
As with all ScorpionExoWear the designers went out of their way to over-engineer this suit. For example, the upper back hump reduces wind drag while adding impact protection. An internal back protector compartment also includes a Temper Foam pad for even further protection.
