Could the BMW S1000RR be the savior of sales? While other OEMs are reporting losses, BMW motorcycles experienced a 14.7 percent increase in sales for February as compared to 2009. The S1000RR has just been released for sale, but it could be the start of an OEM battle with a full-scale invasion coming from Europe.
But how is the German marque pushing forward while its competitors fall back? It might have something to do with the bike's fully-loaded features and astonishing 178 horsepower that's provoking even cash-strapped enthusiasts to throw down for the groundbreaking bike.
