Racers from yesteryear
In over sixty years of racing, the Ducati tradition has gone from strength to strength thanks to the successes of its top riders.
At WDW you'll have the chance to re-experience the emotions of yesteryear as some of them once again sit astride the powerful competition bikes that made them famous all over the world. So on Friday and Saturday be there: this is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to see them back in action!
Heritage Area - Vintage motorcycle exhibition
As in previous WDW events, Ducati's unique history will be illustrated with an exhibition of some of the groundbreaking models that constitute the cornerstones of Ducati tradition: models to suit every taste, for both road and race track, will be on show in the Heritage Area, ready to bring joy to eyes - and ears!
Minimotard at WDW
A fun initiative to make WDW 2010 even more attention-grabbing than ever!
Mobster pitbike, a Turin-based pitbike and minimotard company, is offering a breathtaking chance to try out the latest 4-stroke minimotard models: you too can take to the track on one of these small yet fun-packed minimotos, specially decked out for the occasion in special Ducati livery!
Italian Army Area - Mangusta helicopter and mine disposal robots
Thanks to the twinning that links Ducati to the Brigata Aeromobile Friuli, one of Italy's most respected peace mission units that has been active in crisis areas around the globe, you'll be able to enjoy a close look at the equipment and technology used by the Italian Army.
The stars of the show will be the powerful Mangusta helicopter and a real 'alien' robot at work on the surface of the Red Planet!
Nightlife on the Red Planet
The Red Planet continues to party long after sundown!
Red Planet Movida: the inaugural evening of WDW 2010 opens up with an event never before seen on the Riviera: the town of Misano Adriatico will give all the bikers a warm welcome in the main square from where a procession of motorcycles will set out for Riccione, stopping off at the top trend-setting places of the Adriatic Riviera movida along the way before arriving for an unforgettable Beach Party at Opera in Riccione!
So join us! Times and meeting points to be posted online soon.
Red Planet Rocks: Friday night will see eye-popping acrobatics by stuntmen and freestylers, followed by not-to-be-missed performances by Italian-grown blues musicians.
Red Planet Show: On Saturday night internationally acclaimed performing artists (who have taken part in world tours and even planetary events such the Athens Olympics opening and closing ceremonies) will be putting on a show to remember!
And don't miss out on the brilliant performances from the four Ducati Bands!
Please remember that you can purchase your 4-day pass online until 5th June; after that date it will only be possible to purchase 1-day tickets directly at the circuit.
