Roaring Toyz Unveils a Surprise at Atlantic Beach Bike Week
The uncertainty regarding the BMW S1000RR's street cred seems to have been resolved. Roaring Toyz stripped and pimped BMW's superbike for an unveiling at the Atlantic Beach Bike Fest, and the bike was the hit sensation of the week. The industry has been buzzing about its monstrously powerful motor, but the naysayers have pointed to its quirky styling and said it'll never make it on the streets.
Not anymore. With a hot paint job, Performance Machine wheels (240 rear) and a mild stretch with a single-sided arm, this bike will likely mop the floor with anything on the road (from light to light, that is).
Bob Fisher of Roaring Toyz explained the reaction to his company's creation: "The bike had a constant crowd around it throughout the entire weekend and most people were shocked to find it was a BMW. Many others have seen the performance results and are now sold on it after seeing the bike in custom trim."
Keep your eyes peeled for a full feature on this unique custom in an upcoming issue. Fisher claimed he still had a few finishing touches, and we're anxiously waiting to see what he has up his sleeve.
