A new 2010 Kawasaki Z1000 recently turned up on our doorstep with a collar around its neck reading "Mod Me," so we plan to do just that. After critiquing the bike from all sides we collectively agreed that it needed a more aggressive stance as well as a load of aftermarket upgrades.
Because the big Z is already such a handful the plan is to stretch and slam it so that the throttle can really be laid into without the front end floating constantly. As it sits, the Z1000 is tricky to launch away from traffic lights with any sort of authority because the front tire immediately leaves the ground. The flashy RC Components wheels, combined with a mild stretch and slam should remedy the problem and allow the Kawi to tear apart lesser sportbikes on the road. Plenty of other trick bits will find their way onto the Z, and even if you're a hardcore sportbike enthusiast to the core we're sure you'd make some room in your garage for our streetfighter.
