(Sarasota, FL) Roaring Toyz, the designers, creators and builders of high-quality custom sportbikes and the components and accessories for them, has added billet lowering links for the new 2011 Kawasaki ZX-10, Ninja 1000, and 2010-11 Z1000 to its complete line of lowering links and kits.
Each unit is fully adjustable to allow for any ride height desired. “We can get any rider’s feet on the ground easily and comfortably if seat height’s the problem,” says Robert Fisher, Roaring Toyz president and creative director. “Or we can just lower your bike if that’s the look and attitude you want.”
The new links are designed, and “meticulously” CNC-machined from 6061 T6 billet aluminum in-house. Indicative of Roaring Toyz’ obsession with quality, their lowering links come with high-quality OEM-style bearings pressed in, “not the cheaper oil-impregnated brass bushings found in other, cheaper links.”
On the benefits of proper ride height, Fisher says, “When your bike fits you, it can improve your riding, control, confidence, and performance. You just feel better. You want to ride longer.”
Suggested retail price for the new Roaring Toyz Kawasaki adjustable billet lowering links is $124.99. In addition, the company offers a full line of lowering links and kits for virtually every modern sportbike, including the BMW S1000RR. There are models to lower the ride height and/or footpegs, or raise the handlebars. There are also lowering kickstands available for lowered bikes. They can all be seen at www.RoaringToyz.com.
