The EXO 500 started with an all-new shell for superior protection (actually the shell comes in three different sizes for a superior fit as well). "The EXO 500 was inspired by the fit and levels of protection offered by our top-of-the-line helmet," explains Scorpion’s National Sales Manager Jon Eide. “But it is even better in many respects.”
It is equipped with the same evolutionary SpeedShift® quick-change shield system, Airfit® helmet inflation technology and state-of-the-art ventilation system found in Scorpion’s high end helmets, “but chances are the new EXO 500 will steal the show from the much more expensive helmets for riders looking to buy the best helmet for the best price,” adds Eide. The EXO 500 also meets or exceeds ECE/DOT safety standards.
Scorpion’s exclusive SpeedView® integrated retractable sunvisor comes standard on the EXO 500. However, the new lid gets the updated KwickWickII® comfort liner and triple density foam cheek pads. When combined with the Airfit® inflation system and three shell sizes, “you really can’t find a better fitting, more comfortable helmet at the price point,” points out Eide. "This helmet has all the bells and whistles at a fraction of the price."
