It looks like Nick Brocha put in the necessary work during the off-season to elevate his abilities significantly higher than his competitors. At the season opener of the XDL stunt riding championship he relegated the favorite, Bill Dixon, to second place by a significant seven-point margin.
Brocha’s combination of acrobatics, high speed drifts and impeccable bike control overall resonated more with the judges than Dixon’s somewhat loose and dangerous routine. Brocha reflected on the win and the event in general: I’m basically on an all-new bike, so I had to play it safe and not show all my new stuff just yet, but it was enough for the win. It’s going to be long, hard season though, especially since Bill D has some new moves.

Daytona's Motorcycle Task...

Daytona's Motorcycle Task Force pit stopped at XDL to compare VINs and engine numbers during their blanket sweep of Daytona. It appears they've neglected checking the most important number of all: 1-800-GET-THIN.
