Casey Stoner has Eddie Lawson in his sights
Casey Stoner’s win at the Indianapolis Grand Prix was the 30th time he has stood on the top step of the podium in
the MotoGP class. This is just one less premier-class win than Eddie Lawson, who is the fifth in the list of all-time
premier-class GP winners, as shown in the table below. The number of premier-class world titles won by each rider is
shown in brackets and all five riders who are above Stoner in this table have won the premier-class world title on at least
four occasions.

Following his victory at the Indianapolis Grand Prix, Casey Stoner now has 37 Grand Prix victories across all classes,
which is the same number of GP wins as great championship rivals Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa. As shown in
the following table, this places them equal 12th in the all-time Grand prix winners list.
